A website is defined as a collection of web pages. A web page is a pops up on the screen when a web address is typed, clicked or when a query is inserted in a search engine. The web page that pops up can contain a variety of information, it can have written text, graphics, color, sound, and animation. When people give you their web address, it will take you to their website and from there you can see what services they offer or what information they are passing across. Web development has evolved over time, but some are still stuck in the mad. Some of these websites include the following:
Now are you planning or thinking on how you should replace your old bathtub? Log in to this website and you will realize that it will never persuade you to do otherwise. Its images are of poor quality, it has tiny fonts and garish colors, its frames are not well developed because they minimize the site to a small window that pops up in the center of the screen. This website can offend its users.
Have you ever thought of collecting bottles? This website will end your career. If we put aside the pillar-box red typeface that it has, its background clashes with a variety of bottle pictures that are of poor quality. Happy pictures of bottle owners are also in circulation, but the quality of the images will make you regret why you logged in to the site.
This website is too congested with images, videos, adverts, and links. This enormous supply of text and images give a browser little time or no clear way to navigate in the page, making it boring.
It’s far much well designed than the above sites. It contains imagery that gives the purpose of the website. Now, if you don’t have any idea about the company, the many floating pictures of raw meat might give you a taste of what you are about to witness. But you will have to spend more time on the page hence suffer the shame of scrolling past numerous pieces of floating pieces of meat to reach the useful information on the bottom of the page.
It’s a company that is based in Florida. It decided to be stuck in the past by bombarding users with a lot of information on the homepage. It’s small but low-quality images are scattered everywhere. There is also no tool that breaks up a large amount of text, it inevitably hurts!
This site starts off with a page that asks “Who is Penny Juice?” It also has so many colors that give no explanation. Where did they take the navigation tabs? Sorry, they are not there, meaning you can’t navigate around. Although it has a picture of a baby on top, it turns out to be comical.
One of the old school web designed website is here. It crams a lot of information on the site with four full-featured articles on the homepage. It will make you sleep.
We have lived to love James Bond, who we know as a charming, secret agent in the silver screens. Where they got the designer for the James Bond Museum is highly questionable. Its background is stuck with Times New Roman typeface with crowded menus, hyperlinks, and random imagery. It does not echo the character of Bond himself.
Visit this site and you will have no clue of what you are looking for, it’s genuinely baffling. Scroll down the page and what you will see is the same cut-and-paste poor quality images with links attached. It contains a search box at the top but try to use it, and you get lost.
This website does not have your time because it seems to be busy all the time. It has a lot of imagery with primary colored fonts hence difficult to find useful information. It’s hell for users.
These ten websites need to be redefined or otherwise they will mislead users with their junk information that is not useful. Owners of these sites don’t feel offend but gear up to redesign them if they can.
